Zvi Herman hails from Queens, New York, where he grew up on video games, violin, and just about any book he could get his hands on. After studying in Israel for a year and a half, he continued to graduate from Yeshiva University, the Rabbi Isaac Elchanan Theological Seminary, and the Azrieli Graduate School for Jewish Education. He spent two years at the Gruss Kollel, then went on to teach at Yeshivat Shaarei Mevaseret Zion for a decade. He currently lives in Yerushalayim with his wife and four children, where he is the associate director at a seminary called Baer Miriam.
